Splat!

SPLAT! was originally, written as a fifth grade english assignment, and not two years later by a twist of fates it landed in the hands of Crystal Publishing. They approached the author, Ellen Raine (12 years old, at the time) and offered her a contract. This then led to the long process of rewriting, editing, and illustrating the book. About two years later, the book was ready to be published!

 

This experience sparked a passion for writing, so look for more works by this young author!
